When a new baby arrives, your toddler feels it too. They need extra comfort, attention and snacks… and they need it now. Usually when you’re feeding the baby.

How It Works:
1) Book Your Day
Choose a date that works for you, ideally 1-3 weeks before your due date, or in the early postpartum days.
2) Plan
I’ll send you a short intake form so we can plan around your dietary needs, preferences and what is already in your pantry. Gluten-free? Dairy-free? Plant-based? All welcome here.
3) Eat, Rest, Recover
I arrive prepared and spend the day in your kitchen preparing wholesome meals and snacks. I’ll leave your fridge stocked and your kitchen clean.

— Anne, mother of 3The Best Baby Shower Gift Isn’t A Onsie
Partners, parents, siblings, close friends: if someone you love is about to have a baby, a Fill the Fridge Day is a gift they will actually remember. Not another swaddle. Not a candle. Real food, ready to eat, when they need it most. Especially if geography is getting in the way of you being by their side.
Get in touch, and I'll send you a gift certificate to present at the shower and coordinate directly with the family on timing.
Why Food Matters So Much Postpartum
Labour is a huge physical expenditure. Your organs have been shifting for 10 months. Your hormones are reshaping overnight. In this tender window, warm and easy-to-digest food isn't a luxury; it's part of how your body heals.
The meals I prepare are inspired by traditional postpartum practices from TCM and Ayurvedic traditions. Not because I follow them rigidly, but because they've guided mothers through recovery for thousands of years, and they work. Soft, warm, nourishing. Think of it as a warm hug for your insides.
